ARTICHOKE CROSTINI WITH BRIE

Artichoke Pesto
2 (6 oz) jars marinated artichoke hearts, drained
6 large basil leaves
1 large garlic clove
1 french bread baguette, cut into 1/2 inch slices
1/2 cup olive
5 cloves garlic
1 tsp dried crushed red pepper
Brie
Combine first 3 ingredients in a food processor and finely chop. Season to taste with salt and pepper. (Can be prepared 2 days in advance.) Preheat oven to 425. Brush bread with olive oil. Arrange on baking sheet and bake until golden brown about 10 minutes. Thinly slice brie. Top with 2 tsp artichoke pesto on bread. Top artichoke with brie, covering completely. Bake until cheese bubbles. Sprinkle with crushed red pepper and serve. Makes 24
