1 French baguette, sliced 1/4 inch thick
4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 cup shredded Monterey jack cheese
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sliced almonds, toasted
1 tbsp chopped green onions
1/4 tsp salt
Garnish, toasted, sliced onions

Arrange bread slices on an ungreased baking sheet; bake at 400 for 6 minutes or until golden. Combine bacon and next 5 ingredients in a small bowl; stir well. Spread mixture on slices; bake at 400 for 5 minutes or until cheese melts. Garnish. Serve immediately.
