Shelly's Recipe

* FRENCH BREAD MONTEREY

1 long loaf French bread
softened butter
1 cup mayonnaise (not Miracle Whip)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup finely chopped onions
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Cut loaf of bread in half lengthwise.
Spread with softened butter.
Mix mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, onions and Worcestershire sauce together and spread over bread.
Broil slowly (on lower rack) until light brown
