Shelly's Recipe

* PRALINE CRUNCH

Heat oven to 250 degrees

16 ounce box Quaker Oatmeal Squares
2 cups pecan pieces
Combine in 9 x 13 cake pan

1/2 cup light Karo syrup
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Put in 4-cup microwave bowl.
Cook in microwave on high for 1 1/2 minutes
Stir
Cook in microwave on high for another 1 1/2 minutes
Stir in:
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Stir well.

Pour over cereal and pecans
Stir to coat
Bake for 1 hour stirring every 20 minutes

Spread on cookie sheet to cool
Break-up
