Shelly's Recipe

* CHOCOLATE COOKIES

1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 egg
3 squares unsweetened chocolate melted
1/2 to 2/3 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups flour

Cream butter and sugar together. Add egg. Add flour and soda. Add buttermilk. Add chocolate.

Bake 350 degrees.

When cool ice with:

FUDGE ICING
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup milk
4 tablespoons cocoa
1/2 teaspoon salt

Boil for 1 minute, let cool and stir.
Spread on cooled cookies.
