WHITE CHOCOLATE BLONDIES

8 oz white chocolate chopped
1/2 cup butter, softened
2 eggs
1/3 cup white sugar
1 tbsp vanilla extract
11/4 cups flour
3/4 tsp salt
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 9x9 inch baking dish. Melt white chocolate and butter. Stir occasionally until smooth. Set aside to cool. In a large bowl, beat eggs until foamy. Gradually add the sugar and vanilla. Drizzle in the white chocolate mixture. In a medium bowl, combine the dry ingredients. Fold into the white chocolate mixture. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan. Bake for 25 minutes. Cool in pan on a wire rack before cutting into bars.
