Picnic Cole Slaw

1 medium head cabbage, shredded (I use 1/2 red and1/2 green)
1 large carrot, shredded
1 medium green pepper, diced
1 medium sweet red pepper, diced
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1/3 cup sliced green onions

DRESSING:
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup sugar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon vinegar
1/2 teaspoon salt
Dash fresh ground pepper

Combine the salad ingredients, then combine dressing in a blender and process until smooth. Pour over vegetables; toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate overnight and stir before serving.
