CAJUN-STYLE BURGERS

1 lb ground beef
3 tbsp dry bread crumbs
1 egg
3 green onions, chopped
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
1 tbsp prepared mustard
1/4 cup barbecue sauce
1 tsp Cajun seasoning
4 slices cheddar or pepper jack cheese
Toppings: lettuce, tomato and red onion slices
4 hamburger buns

Lightly oil grill rack. Preheat grill for high heat. Combine first 6 ingredients and form into 4 patties. In a bowl, blend together the barbecue sauce and Cajun seasoning. Cook the patties on the grill. Place a slice of cheese on each burger and allow to melt. Serve on hamburger buns with seasoned barbecue sauce.
