TURTLE CARAMEL PECAN PIE

Category: Pie - Nut

Crust
1 3/4 cup crushed chocolate cookies
4 tbsp melted butter

Combine and press into a 9 inch pie plate.

Filling:
2 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
2 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 350. Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and beat until ligh and fluffy. Pour into crust and bake until firm, about 25 minutes. Cool slightly.

Caramel Layer:
Carmel Ice Dessert Topping

Drizzle over top of pie.

Chocolate Layer:
1/2 cup chocolate chips
2 tbsp whipping cream
1 tbsp butter

Melt chocolate with butter and whipping cream in a double boiler. (If chocolate gets too thick when drizzling, add a little extra whipping cream to desired consistency.)

Nut Layer:
Sprinkle with 1 cup coarsely chopped pecans

Whipped topping:
1/2 pint whipping cream
2 tbsp confectioners sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Whip whipping cream until soft peaks form; add confectioners sugar and vanilla extract. Pipe around edges of pie.

Garnish whipped topping with pecan halves.
