GREEN BEAN MUSHROOM ALFREDO

1 (1 lb) pkg frozen French-cut green beans
2 tbsp butter, divided
1/4 cup sliced almonds
1 lb sliced mushrooms
1/4 cup chopped red bell pepper
2 tbsp water
Garlic powder, salt and pepper, to taste
3/4 cup Alfredo sauce
1 can onion rings

Cook green beans in boiling, salted water until almost tender and drain. Meanwhile, melt 1 tbsp butter in a skillet and toast almonds until golden brown, about 4 minutes, stirring occasionally.

In the same skillet, melt remaining butter and sauté mushrooms and bell pepper until tender. Add sauteed vegetables and remaining ingredients, except the almonds, along with 1/2 the can of onions rings to the green beans. Pour in a greased casserole, and sprinkle top with almonds and remaining onions. Bake at 350 until casserole is bubbly.
