RIBBON NUT BREAD

1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup suger
1 egg

Batter
2 cups flour
1/3 cup each sugar and packed brown sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup canola oil
1 tsp grated lmeon peel
1 cup chopped walnuts

Filling: Combined ingredients and set aside.

Batter, Combine dry ingredients. Whisk the remaining ingredients except the nuts and stir in dry ingredients just until moistened. Fold in nuts.

Spoon 1 cup batter into a greased loaf pan. Spread filling evenly over batter. Top with remaining batter; carefully spreading to cover.

Bake at 350 for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack. Store in refrigerator.
