HERBED CHICKEN AND RICE BAKE

1 pkg long grain and wild rice mix
3 large chicken breasts, boned and halved lengthwise
Salt, pepper and garlic powder, to taste
1/4 cup butter
1 can cream of chicken soup
3/4 cup white wine or sauterne
1/2 cup sliced celery and chopped onion and chopped red bell pepper
1 (3 oz) can sliced mushrooms
1 tsp Cavender’s Greek Seasoning
Prepare rice mix according to package directions. Season chicken with salt, pepper and garlic powder and brown in a skillet slowly in the butter. Spoon rice into a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Top with chicken, skin side up. Add soup to skillet; slowly add wine, stirring until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil; pour over chicken. Cover, bake at 350 for 25 minutes. Uncover; bake for 15-20 minutes or until tender. Serves 6
