CHICKEN ON A STICK

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
1/3 cup each hoisin sauce and plumb sauce
2 tbsp sliced green onions
1 tbsp grated gingerroot
2 tbsp each dry sherry and white wine vinegar or vinegar
Trim fat and cut lengthwise into 1/2 inch strips. Lightly flatten between wax paper. Mix remaining ingredients in a resealable bag, adding chicken. Toss and coat. Refrigerate at least 2 hours.
Set broiler or grill. Remove meat from marinade, reserving marinade for later. Thread chicken on skewers band broil/grill for about 4 minutes on each side.
Heat reserved marinade and boil for 1 minutes, serve chicken with marinade.
