THREE LAYER CHOCOLATE PUDDING CAKE

First layer
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
1 cup chopped walnuts
Combine flour, butter and nuts. Pat over the bottom of a 9-by-13-inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees about 20 minutes.
Second layer
8-ounce package cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
6 ounces whipped topping (1/2 of 12-ounce container)
Mix ingredients well and carefully spread over cooled nut crust.
Third layer
3.4-ounce package instant vanilla pudding
3.4-ounce package instant chocolate pudding
2 1/2 cups cold milk
Remaining whipped topping
Combine puddings and cold milk (mixture will be thicker than regular pudding). Spread pudding mixture over second layer and top with remaining whipped topping. Garnish with shaved chocolate if desired.
