MINUTE FUDGE FROSTING

Combine 1 oz finely chopped baking chocolate, 1 cup sugar, 1/3 cup milk or cream, 1/4 cup shortening and 1/4 tsp salt. Bring to a rolling boil, stirring constantly, for 1 minute. Beat until lukewarm. Add 1 tsp vanilla extract and then beat with a mixer on high until thick enough to spread.
