PEACH MARGARITAS

•2 to 3 peaches, medium to large, peeled and pitted
•1 to 2 cups ice
•4 ounces tequila
•4 ounces peach schnapps
•2 ounces sweetened lime juice
•2 ounces triple sec
•Lime slice
•Sanding sugar
Blend first 6 ingredients. Rim glasses with a swipe of lime juice, then coat rim with peach-colored (or other festive or white) sugar.

Yields 2 1/2 to 3 medium margaritas.

Notes:
Adding more peaches or ice can quickly and easily adjust the "strength" of them.

Ingredients, minus the ice, can be blended and kept in a pitcher in the fridge to add to ice when friends show up or the mood hits. The liquor keeps the peaches from turning brown.

To freeze the peaches for later, I halve or quarter them, sprinkle them with the recommended amount of Fruit Fresh, then put them in freezer bags with 50 percent sugar/50 percent water (blended so sugar is dissolved) to cover.
