BRANDIED MUSHROOM SAUCE

1 (8-ounce) package whole mushrooms, quartered
2 cloves garlic, minced
4 green onions, thinly sliced
4 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup brandy
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
2/3 cup whipping cream

In a saucepan, saute mushrooms, garlic, and onion in butter for 3 minutes over medium-high heat on stovetop. Add brandy; cook for 3 minutes. Stir in flour, salt, and pepper; cook for 1 minute. Stir in cream; cook for approximately 3 minutes until thickened.
