BUTTER TART SQUARES

Base:
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup sugar
1 cup flour

Topping:
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 tbsp melted butter
2 tbsp flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup raisins

For base: cream butter with sugar and blend in flour until crumbly. Press into the bottom of an 8 inch square baking dish. Bake at 350 for 10 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned.

For topping: Combine all ingredients and spread over base. Bake and additional 30 minutes. Cool in pan and cut into 16 squares.
