SAVORY PORK

1 lb boneless lean pork, cut into 1 inch pieces
1 tbsp oil
1 medium onion, chopped
1 (16 oz) can apricot halves in heavy syrup
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 medium green bell pepper, slivered
1 tbsp cornstarch
1/4 cup water
Hot, cooked noodles
In a skillet, saute meat in the oil for 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Add onion. Saute 2-3 minutes longer. Drain apricots. Add syrup and barbecue sauce to pork. Add salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer 30 minutes or until meat is tender. Add green pepper. Cover and simmer 10 minutes. Blend cornstarch and water. Stir into mixture. Cook, stirring, until thickened. Add apricots and heat gently. Serve on a bed of noodles.
