CITRUS-CREAM CHEESE DIP

1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened 
2 cups powdered sugar 
2 teaspoons vanilla extract 
1 tablespoon grated lime, lemon, or orange rind 
1 cup whipped cream 
Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla at medium speed with an electric mixer, stir in citrus rind. Fold in whipped cream.  Makes 3 cups
DRY RUB for Chicken, Ribs or Brisket
1 tbsp each black pepper, garlic powder, dry mustard, brown sugar, salt, celery salt, ground oregano, white pepper, sugar and cumin
2 tsp each cayenne pepper and chili powder
4 tbsp paprika
Combine ingredients.  Rub mixture into meat and wrap tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.
Store leftover mixture in an airtight jar or in freezer.
