PIZZA CASSEROLE

1 1/2 lbs sweet and hot Italian sausages
4 cups chopped green peppers
2 cups chopped onion
1 lb shredded provolone cheese
1/3 cup cooking oil
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp oregano
1 quart spaghetti sauce
1 dozen eggs
Grated parmesan cheese

Grease bottom and sides of a 13x9 inch baking pan. Saute vegetables in oil until tender. Remove with a slotted spoon to a dish and season with the spices. Brown sausages until almost done and drain well.

Pour 1/2 of the spaghetti sauce in bottom of pan. Spoon all the sauce over sauce. Top with sauteed vegetables. Sprinkle with cheese and pour remaining sauce over all. Poke holes all over top of mixture, using a wooden spoon handle. Beat eggs thoroughly. Pour evenly over casserole. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
