ORANGE MARINATED FLANK STEAK

Category: Beef Steaks

2 pounds flank steak
1/2 cup orange marmalade
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 teaspoons ground ginger
4 ounces Italian salad dressing
1/4 cup brown sugar or honey
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon grated orange rind
1 tsp red pepper flakes
1/4 cup orange juice
1 dash garlic powder

Place the meat in a glass or plastic bowl. Combine all the remaining marinade ingredients and pour over the meat. Cover and refrigerate. Marinate the steak overnight or longer. Drain marinade from meat into a saucepan. Bring to a boil.

Barbecue meat over red-hot coals 15 minutes per side, basting frequently with the marinade. Slice thinly against the grain and serve immediately. Serves 4
