BEER SHRIMP MARINADE

2 bottles flattened wheat beer (used Blue Moon Spring Ale)
1/3 c honey
1 t Jamaican allspice
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 t kosher salt
2 T brown sugar
1 1/2 - 2 lbs uncooked, shelled and deveined shrimp with tails on
Mix ingredients together in a saucepan Bring to a boil and then simmer uncovered and reduce for 15 minutes Let cool to room temperature and place in refrigerator for a couple hours
Put shrimp on skewers and pour marinade over shrimp and marinade for a couple hours in the refrigerator Grill shrimp over medium high heat, flipping after a couple minutes. When shrimp are pink throughout, take off grill and serve
