APPLE CHEESE BREAD

1/2 cup butter
2/3 cu sugar
2 eggs
Apple, peeled and chopped
1/2 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
1/3 cup chopped walnuts
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp each baking soda and salt

Preheat oven to 350. Cream butter and sugar until light. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Stir in apples, cheese and nuts.

In a separate bowl, combine dry ingredients and gradually stir into apple mixture. Pour into a grease loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour and cool in pan for 10 minutes before turning out of pan.
