BALSAMIC MARINADE for Beef, Pork, Lamb, or Veal

2 pounds beef, pork, lamb, or veal
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar (any flavor)
2 cloves garlic, slivered
1 tsp dried oregano leaves
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp dried marjoram leaves
1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper
Place meat in a shallow glass dish. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, vinegar, garlic, oregano, salt, marjoram, and pepper. Pour marinade over meat, using about 1/2 cup for each pound of meat. Turn to coat both sides. Cover; marinate several hours or overnight, turning meat occasionally. Remove meat, boil marinade 1 minute. Grill meat, brushing frequently with marinade. Makes 1 cup marinade
