PORK CHOPS WITH GLAZED APPLE AND ONION

4 pork Loin chops, cut 3/4 inch thick
2 tsp. vegetable oil
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
1 large apple, sliced
1/2 cup favorite barbecue sauce
1/4 cup apple juice (use less for thicker glaze)

In a large skillet, over medium-high heat, brown pork chops on both sides in hot oil. Reduce heat to medium; cook for 6 to 10 minutes or until chops are done. Remove to serving platter; keep warm.

In same skillet, over medium-high heat, cook onion in pan drippings for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add apple; cook for 5 minutes more or until onion and apple are tender. Stir in barbecue sauce and apple juice; heat through. Spoon sauce over chops. Serves 4
