TURKEY ON THE GRILL

Season turkey as desidred. Prepare grill for indirect heat. Use a drip pan larger than turkey. For a 22 inch grill, place 25-30 briquettes on each lengthwise side of drip pan. Burn coals to a gray ash, about 30 minutes. Place turkey, which has been brushed with oil, on top rack over drip pan. Cover grill, leaving vents open. Add 5-8 briquettes on each side every hour to maintain grill temperature near 325.
