APRICOT COBBLER BREAD

1/3 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/3 cup water
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup apricots, diced
1 2/3 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add the eggs, one at a time; beating well after each addition. Beat in water and vanilla. Stir in apricots. Combine flour, baking soda, salt, and baking powder; gradually add to the creamed mixture. Pour into a greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 for 50-55 minutes or until a toothpick, inserted near the center, comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan to wire rack.
