LAYERED CRACKER DIP

Category: Dips - Cold

Bottom Layer:
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, room temperature
1 (5 oz) can minced ham
1 tsp minced dried onion
1 tsp lemon pepper

Top Layer:
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, room temperature
1 1/2 cups shredded sharp or mild cheddar cheese
2 green onions including the pale green tops, minced
1 tbspmilk
Fresh parsley, garnish

Mix bottom layer ingredients. Line a flat, 4-inch round bowl with plastic wrap and press mixture into it OR hand form a 1-inch circular layer on a plate covered with plastic wrap. Seal tightly and refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight.

Follow the same directions for the top layer.

Serving:
Carefully turn out bottom layer on serving plate. Smooth the sides with a knife. Place parsley sprigs around the edges, far enough over the edge to show when top layer is applied. Apply top layer and smooth edges and top. Garnish top with parsley sprigs. Serve with crackers.
