STRAWBERRY CRISP

Category: Cobblers/Crumbles and Crisps

4 cup strawberries, fresh or frozen
1/4 cup brown sugar
3 tbsp flour
1/2 tsp cinnamon

Topping
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup oatmeal, uncooked
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup margarine
1/4 cup pecans

Preheat oven to 375. Place berries in a 9 inch square pan. In small bowl combine brown sugar, flour and cinnamon. Stir lightly into fruit.

Topping: Combine all ingredients except butter and nuts. With a pastry blender or 2 knives used scissor fashion, cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add nuts. Sprinkle topping over berries. Bake 30 minutes or until bubbly around edge. Serves 8
