HOT CRAB SPREAD

1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
1 tbsp milk
1/2 fresh crabmeat, bits of shell removed
2 tbsp finely chopped onion
1/2 tsp prepared horseradish (optional)
1/4 tsp salt
Dash of pepper
1/3 cup chopped toasted pecans or sliced almonds

Preheat oven to 375. Mix all ingredients except the nuts. Spoon mixture into ovenproof baking dish and sprinkle with nuts. Bake for 15 minutes and serve with assorted crackers. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
