STRAWBERRY VELVET SQUARES

Crust
1 pkg strawberry cake mix
1 1/2 cup quick-cooking oats
1 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup butter
1 egg

Filling
1 (16 oz) container strawberry frosting
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
2 eggs
1/2 tsp strawberry flavoring

Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 13x9 inch baking pan. For crust, combine cake mix, oats, nuts, butter and egg with fork or by hand. Mix until crumbly. Reserve 2 cups. Press remaining mixture into prepared pan.

For filling, blend frosting, cream cheese, eggs and strawberry flavoring in mixing bowl until smooth and creamy. Spread over crust. Sprinkle reserved crumb mixture over top. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until firm when pan is slightly shaken.
