STRAWBERRY GODIVA

3-4 pints strawberries
3/4 cup Godiva Liqueur
6 eggs separated
6 heaping tbsp sugar
1 lb mascarpone cheese
3 oz bittersweet chocolate, coarsely grated

Wash and hull strawberries; set aside. Beat egg whites until soft peaks form and set aside. Beat yolks and sugar well, until mixture is light yellow in color. Pour in 3/4 cup liqueur continue beating until liqueur is well incorporated into eggs. Add mascarpone and stir gently. Then gently fold beaten eggs whites into mixture. Arrange strawberries in long-stemmed large wine glasses. Generously spoon mascarpone mixture over strawberries and top with grated chocolate.
