SICILIAN CUBE STEAKS

4 beef cube steaks
2 tsp Italian herb seasoning
1 tsp olive oil
1 onion, chopped
1 lb canned crushed tomatoes
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp honey
2 tbsp red wine vinegar

Season the meat with half the herb seasonings, salt and pepper, to taste. Heat oil in a skillet and saute meat 2-3 minutes, until browned on bottom. Turn over and stir in onions and remaining Italian seasoning. Cook 2 minutes and stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Cover skillet, reduce heat to medium low and cook 6-8 minutes, until meat is cooked throughout.
