MAHOGANY GLAZED CHICKEN

3 lbs frying chicken, cut into serving pieces

Glaze
1/4 cup maple syrup
3 tbsp butter
2 tbsp orange juice
1 tbsp bourbon
2 tsp molasses

In a saucepan, combine glaze ingredients. Bring to a boil; cook and stir until butter begins to melt.

Preheat oven to 350. Place chicken in an ungreased baking pan and bake for 45-55 minutes or until chicken is fork tender and juices run clear, brushing frequently with glaze. Heat any remaining glaze to a boil; serve with chicken. Serves 6-8
