SOUTHERN NUT DESSERT

3 eggs
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp baking powder
2 cups walnuts or pecans
Fresh berries
Whipped cream

In a large bowl, beat eggs until light, slowly beat sugar and baking powder. Continue beating 5 minutes until light lemon colored. Mix in nuts. Grease 8 inch square baking pan. Pour mixture into pan and smooth on top. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes until top feels dry. Cool. Press on top to give crumbly effect. Cut into squares. Top with berries and cream.
