TOFFEE CHUNK BROWNIE COOKIES

1 cup butter
4 oz unsweetened chocolate, coarsely chopped
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 cups flour
1/7 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups coarsely chopped chocolate covered toffee bars
Preheat oven to 350. Melt butter and chocolate in a saucepan, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat, allowing to cool slightly. Stir in the sugar until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Stir in vanilla until smooth and add the flour and salt, stirring just until mixed.
Fold in chopped candy and drop the dough by heaping tbspfuls about 1 1/2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 12 minutes or until just set. Let cookies stand on cookie sheet for about 5 minutes and then transfer to a rack to cool completely. Stir in airtight container.
