LIME FLUFF PIE

1 pkg regular vanilla pudding and pie filling
1 (4 serving) pkg lime gelatin
1/4 cups sugar
2 cups water
1 1/2 tsp grated lime rind
2 tbsp lime juice
3 1/2 cups whipped topping

Combine first 4 ingredients in a saucepan. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a full boil. Add rind and juice. Pour into a bowl, cover with plastic wrap and chill until cold and slightly thickened. Fold in 2 1/2 cups whipped topping. Spoon into crust. Freeze for 1 hour. Garnish with whipped topping and lime slices.
