BEEF AND VEGETABLE KABOBS

Marinade
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup orange juice
1 tbsp vegetable oil
3/4 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp minced garlic or 1/4 tsp garlic powder

Kabobs
1 lb sirloin beef, cut into chunks
8 mushrooms
1 small onion, cut into 8 wedges
1 small red bell pepper, seeded and cut into 8 chunks

Combine marinade ingredients in a resealable bag. Add meat and vegetables, toss to coat. Let standing, 10 minutes, turning occasionally.

Heat broiler and alternately thread beef and vegetables onto 4 skewers. Reserve leftover marinade. Cook on a foil-lined broilers rack or grill about 2 minutes on each side, brushing with reserved marinade. Serves 4
