PUMPKIN PIE TRIFLE - Easy

1 pkg frozen pumpkin pie
3 cups whipping cream
3/4 cup maple syrup, divided
1 tsp maple extract
1/4 cup chopped pecans, toasted

Bake pie according to pkg directions. Cool on a wire rack at least 2 hours. Cut pie into cubes. Beat whipping cream, 23 tbsp maple syrup and extract at medium speed until stiff peaks form. Layer half the pie cubes in a 3 1/2 quart glass dish and drizzle with half of remaining maple syrup and top with whipped cream mixture. Repeat procedure. Sprinkle with pecans.
