BACON DOUBLE CHEESEBURGER CASSEROLE

3 cups uncooked elbow macaroni (about 10 oz.)
2 lbs. lean ground beef
1 cup milk
1 tsp. garlic pepper
2 cans (10 3/4 oz. each) condensed Cheddar cheese soup
1 pkg. (8 oz.) Cheddar cheese cubes
10 strips cooked bacon, chopped
1/2 cup plain bread crumbs
2 tbsp. butter or margarine, melted

Heat oven to 350. Cook and drain elbow macaroni as directed on the box. While macaroni is cooking, brown ground beef over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally; drain.

In a casserole dish, mix together macaroni, milk, garlic pepper, soup, cheese cubes and half of the bacon. Bake uncovered for 20 minutes. While it's cooking, mix together remaining bacon, the bread crumbs and butter. Sprinkle over casserole. Bake uncovered for 5 minutes.
