BROILED BURGERS WITH MUSHROOMS AND ONIONS

1 lb ground beef
3 tbsp finely chopped onion and water
3/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper

Mushrooms and onions
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
1 tbsp butter
1 (4 oz) can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Mix ingredients for burgers and shape into 4 patties, about 3/4 inch thick. Set oven control to broil and place patties on rack in broiler pan. Broil with tops about 3 inch from heat until desired doneness, 5-7 minutes on each side for medium.

Mushrooms and onions: Cook onion in butter over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until tender. Stir in mushrooms and Worcestershire sauce; heat until mushrooms are hot.
