Shelly's Recipe

*BRATS WITH ONIONS*

3 cans beer or 4 1/2 cups water
3 large onions, thinly sliced and separated into rings
6 clove garlic, minced
1 tbsp hot pepper sauce
2-3 tsp celery salt and pepper
1 tsp chili powder
5 bratwurst
5 buns, split

In a large saucepan, combine first 7 ingredients. Bring to a boil. Add bratwurst. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 20-25 minutes or until brats are firm and cooked. Drain, reserving onions. Serve on buns with onions.
