BLUE RIBBON BURGERS

3 lb ground beef
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp salt and ground cumin
1/4 tsp garlic powder, chili powder and pepper
1 (3 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
1pkg blue cheese, crumbled
1 (4 oz) can mushrooms, drained

Mix meat Worcestershire sauce and seasonings. Shape into 12 thin patties, each about 4 inch in diameter. Mix the cheeses together. Top 6 patties with the cheese mixture, spreading to within 1/2 inch of the edge; press the mushrooms into the cheese. Cover each patty with the remaining ones, sealing the edges firmly. Broil or grill the patties 4 inch from the heat source, turning once, until the desired doneness is reached and the cheese is melted, about 10-15 minutes. Serves 6
