BIG DADDY BURGERS

1 tbsp olive oil
1 onion, finely chopped
4 clove garlic, minced
4 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp hot sauce
1 tsp thyme
4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
1 egg, beaten
Salt and pepper
2 tbsp ground beef
4 slices sharp cheddar cheese
4 large rolls

Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and add onions and garlic; saute until brown, about 8 minutes; remove to a bowl. Add next 7 ingredients in onion mixture. Mix well.

Add the beef and combine with a wooden spoon. Make sure everything is evenly distributed. Form into 4 patties. Reheat the skillet over medium-high heat. Add the patties and cook 5 minutes; turn over and top with a slice of cheese. Cook 7 minutes longer for medium. Serve on roll with desired condiments.
