* GERMAN SAUSAGE & CABBAGE SOUP*

1 tbsp butter
3 cups purchased cole slaw mix (from 16-oz pkg)
1 medium onion, coarsely chopped
1 stalk celery, sliced
1 tsp caraway seed
12 oz precooked kielbasa, quartered lengthwise, then cut into 1/2 inch slices
3 cups frozen southern-style hash-brown potatoes (from 32-oz pkg)
2 (14-oz) cans chicken broth
1/4 tsp coarse ground black pepper
Melt margarine in large saucepan or Dutch oven over medium heat. Add coleslaw blend, onion, celery and caraway seed; cook stir 2 to 3 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender.
Add all remaining ingredients; mix well. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 5 to 10 minutes or until potatoes are heated thoroughly heated, stirring occasionally 5 (1-1/2 cups) servings
