CHESS SQUARES

1 package yellow cake mix
1 cup butter, melted
1 egg
1 cup chopped pecans
16 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 1-lb box confectioners sugar
2 large eggs

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix together cake mix, butter and 1 egg. Add pecans and mix well. Press into bottom of 13x9 inch baking pan Beat cream cheese and confectioners sugar until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each. Pour over crust. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until set.
