PEACH CRISP
Category: Cobblers/Crumbles and Crisps
6 large peaches, peeled and sliced, or 4 cups frozen sliced peaches, thawed
1 tsp ground cinnamon
6 tbsp hot water
1/4 cup butter
1/3 cup unbleached all-purpose flour
1/3 cup sugar
Preheat the oven to 400. Spray custard cups with nonstick cooking spray. Arrange the peach slices in each of the six dishes and sprinkle evenly with the cinnamon. Pour 1 tbsp of the hot water over the top of each dish. Place the custard cups in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
While the peaches are baking, combine the butter, flour and sugar in a bowl and mix with a fork to form crumbs. Remove the peaches from the oven and sprinkle evenly with the crumb mixture. Return the cups to the oven for 25 more minutes, or until the tops begin to turn a golden brown. Serves 6
