MARBLED CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup packed brown sugar and sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda and salt
2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa
6 oz pkg vanilla chips and chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 375. Cream together first 4 ingredients. Beat in eggs. Combine dry ingredients and gradually beat into creamed mixture until well blended. Scoop out 1/3rd of dough into a separate bowl. Mix in cocoa until thoroughly blended. Stir in chocolate chips. Stir in vanilla chips in remaining white dough.

Return dough to mixing bowl; with a wood spoon, stir the two doughs together just until marbled. Drop dough onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 8-12 minutes or until cookies are set and edges are lightly browned. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet and then remove to a wire rack to cool completely.
