MEXICAN STUFFED WONTONS

1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
1 cup grated Monterey Jack cheese
4 ounces chopped pickled jalapeno peppers
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 to 3 green onions, chopped
1 (16 oz) pkg wonton wrappers
Oil for frying

Combine the cream cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, jalapenos, garlic and green onions. Mix well. Place about 1 tsp of filling on each wonton wrapper. Fold to make a triangle and seal edges with a fork. Heat oil in a large skillet (add enough oil so wontons will float). Cook wontons, turning constantly, until browned. Drain on paper towels. Serve with salsa for dipping.
